List of White Rose Equestrian off-site shows
Carol and White Rose Raireform at the War Horse Series, Carolina Horse Park

White Rose Equestrian is more than just a lesson and boarding barn. We are a family. Our busy schedule includes events, shows, trail rides, clinics, and more throughout the year. We invite you to join us.

Sharing a passion for horses, we celebrate each other's victories and support our fellow equestrians in challenging times. Our friendly, all-inclusive barn is drama-free and a sanctuary for our riders and their families.

Our show team stays busy. We show here on our property and travel to off-site shows. Below is a list of off-site shows and events. This page is updated regularly, so please check back often.

Showing horses off-site, meaning participating in equestrian competitions or events away from the horse's home stable, can offer several benefits for the horse and the rider.

Benefits of attending off-site shows

  1. Competition Experience: Off-site shows provide valuable exposure to different environments, sounds, and distractions. This exposure helps horses become more adaptable and less reactive, leading to a more well-rounded and reliable performance in various situations.
  2. Skill Development: Competing in different settings allows the horse to develop and refine its skills. Horses and riders experience different types of arenas, footing, and unfamiliar jumps or obstacles. This helps enhance the horse's overall training and versatility and the rider's confidence.
  3. Socialization: Off-site shows expose horses to new people, animals, and surroundings. This socialization benefits their mental well-being and can contribute to improved behavior, reducing anxiety or nervousness in novel situations.
  4. Building Confidence: Successfully navigating new environments and challenges during off-site shows can boost a horse's and rider's confidence. Positive experiences in varied settings contribute to a more confident and willing partnership.
  5. Rider Experience: Horse owners and riders also benefit from off-site shows. They gain valuable experience managing the logistics of transporting and caring for horses in different locations. Additionally, riders can refine their skills in handling unexpected situations and become more adept at reading and responding to their horse's behavior.
  6. Goal Setting and Achievement: Off-site shows provide clear goals and milestones for the rider and the horse. Working towards specific competitions encourages ongoing training and improvement, fostering a sense of achievement upon successful completion.
  7. Diversification of Training: Exposure to different judges and competitors at off-site shows allows riders to receive diverse feedback on their performance. This can contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of their strengths and areas for improvement.
