Carol A. Mejia
Owner and Trainer
Carol is passionate about horses and has focused on teaching horseback riding for over 35 years. While living in England, she trained with the British Horse Society, competed in jumpers, and owned and operated an equestrian facility. She created White Rose Equestrian as not just a place to learn to ride but also a nature retreat for all family members. Riders and their families are encouraged to enjoy all the facility has to offer. Carol’s approach to teaching emphasizes safety, correctness, and fun. She teaches dressage, jumping, and eventing to riders of all levels with an emphasis on bringing complete beginner children up the levels. Carol now enjoys trail riding and competes in dressage.

Sam Davis
In Memory of
Sam was Carol’s middle child. He passed away on June 29th, 2018, at the age of 25. One of his favorite sayings was, “You don’t know what hard work is until you have stacked hay straight out of a field in summer.” He is greatly missed by his family.
